Warmth, Movement and Flow, Supported by Modern Technology and PEMF
PEMF and terahertz technology that complements the way we already work at Essential Elements
If you’ve experienced cupping, moxa or bodywork here, you already know how much we value warmth, circulation and movement in the tissues. The OlyLife P90+ brings those same principles into a compact, portable device that combines PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) and terahertz frequency technology.
What does PEMF do?
PEMF uses gentle electromagnetic pulses to encourage cellular activity, while terahertz technology provides targeted energy and warmth. Together, the technologies are designed to support microcirculation, cellular activity and healthy flow through the tissues and meridian pathways.
In my practice, the use of PEMF will be used in conjunction with Tui Na to:
- Warm areas of cold or stagnation
- Encourage circulation and healthy flow through the meridian pathways
- Support cellular activity and microcirculation
- Support the movement of nutrients and oxygen through the tissues
- Compliment bodywork, nutrition and other therapies
Two Languages, One Goal
From a Chinese medicine perspective, areas of cold or stagnation (usually connected with pain) are places where the body’s natural flow has diminished or blocked totally causing pain.
From a functional medicine perspective, we are looking at microcirculation, cellular activity and the movement of nutrients and waste through the tissues.
They are two different languages describing the same foundational goals: movement, nourishment and supporting your body’s own ability to function well.
PEMF speaks both.
Why This Technology Is Personal to Me
My connection to PEMF is personal.
I was first introduced to it during my own cancer therapies at Hope4Cancer, where it was one piece of a much larger approach to supporting the body.
What makes the P90+ PEMF delivery device meaningful to me is that I’ve been able to bring that same therapeutic grade treatment back into my own life, as well as into my practice, in a way that’s portable, accessible and affordable for my patients.
It fits the way I already work.

How PEMF Fits Into Your Care
The technology isn’t meant to replace the other work we do. It’s another tool that can be used on its own or woven into a broader approach to your care.
Depending on your needs, that might include nutrition, supplementation, bodywork or detoxing.
Additional attachments that come with the P90+ technology allow for further more targeted work. During your consultation, we’ll look at the bigger picture and talk about whether PEMF makes sense for you.
A Patient's Experience with PEMF and the P90+ Technology
After major reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, one patient tried the P90+ while she was still early in her recovery and learning to walk again with a walker.
“I’ve been impressed with how quickly everything is moving in the right direction. People in my life have been shocked.”
During the period in which she received three sessions, she reported that her sharp heel pain stopped, her mobility improved, and she progressed from short neighborhood walks to completing 2.3 miles with her walker.
By her third treatment, she described her mobility as “dramatically improved.”
This patient’s medical care and natural healing following surgery were occurring at the same time as her P90+ sessions. Her experience does not establish that PEMF/P90+ caused the changes described. Individual experiences vary.
Curious If PEMF Is Right for You?
P90+ isn't about adding technology for technology's sake.
It's about having another tool available when it makes sense for your body, your goals and the larger picture of your care. It’s about having a great option.
If you're curious, let's start with a conversation. We'll talk about what you're experiencing, what you're already doing and whether PEMF could be a useful addition to your care plan.
